• Swipe down from the top bezel and select the option "Set as Wallpaper".

You can save wallpapers on your BlackBerry PlayBook tablet using the BlackBerry tablet browser. Tap and hold it for a few seconds; and then select "Save Image" option from the dialog box when it appears.

Reshuffle your application icons and categories: BlackBerry PlayBook uses different categories to display applications and games. You can customize the order of the icons in which they appear; and in which categories they appear. In order to use this feature; follow the steps given below: 

• Open the homescreen of the device.
• Tap and hold the icon for which you wish to change the order until it starts to pulse.
• Drag the icon to the category in which you wish to see it. You can also move the location of the icon through same process.
• After you have finished dragging the icons, click on the checkmark that appears on the category bar.

You will find a trash icon appearing behind the icons that are pulsing. If you tap this option, you will be asked whether you wish to delete the application. Make sure that you do not delete it by mistake.

Set volume levels on the device according to different actions: You can customize the master volume on your BlackBerry PlayBook tablet for various actions like typing, receiving notifications and messages. To change the sound levels; tap the "Gear" icon that appears on the homescreen of the device. Then tap "Sounds" and move the sliders to preferred setting.

Create a playlist with your favorite music: It is quite useful to install BlackBerry® Desktop Software for PC. It helps you to synchronize your music and create playlists using the Music application. You can even synchronize any playlist; that you make on BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet, to your desktop computer. This software is specifically for Windows PC users. You can create your own playlist by following the steps specified below: 

• Open the "Music" Application on your BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
• Find songs, artists, albums or genres that you like.
• Swipe down from the top frame and tap "Edit".
• Tap a song that you wish to add to checkmark and then tap "Add". You can also remove a particular song by tapping "Remove" by following the same step.
• After you have finished adding songs, tap the center of your BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet to close the "Options" bar.
